Insulated roller shutters

Constructed from100mm twinned skinned interlocking laths, galvanised as standard with side and top brush strips together with a bottom rubber strip. Each section incorporates a triple skinned ribbed face and retained with a nylon endlock to prevent lateral movement.

Insulation – CFC free polystyrene infill.

Conserving heat and acts as a barrier to prevent cold air entering the building giving a ‘u’ value of 0.69 w/m 2K and an acoustic value of 18db.

Operation

All doors supplied with 3phs foot mounted direct drive electrically operated motor with a separate starter unit incorporating up, down and stop buttons.  

Electrical requirements

A 3 phase neutral supply is required within a fused isolator within approximately 1 metre of the opening requiring a 16 amp 5 pin plug.

Colours

Plastisol – Please enquire for colours available, powder coating to std BS or RAL colour.

Controls

Variety of electrical, automatic control systems are available – key switches, external control buttons, induction loops, radars etc.

Safety

An optical safety edge can be fitted to the bottom seal carrier – Photocell beams are available.

High Speed insulated shutters

The insulated doors can be supplied with a high speed motor to provide faster opening and closing times.

Vision panels

Single or multiple clear carbonate vision panels complete with rubber seals can be fitted with the insulated lath sections.

Hood

A galvanised steel hood – also available in plastisol or std RAL or BS powder coated finish.
