Chain Operated

Again the door is designed to stay in the open position. The closing of the door is via a drop bar weight located in the captive guides. Maximum size is 4000mm wide x 3000mm high – frequent use is not recommended.

Electrically operated

These doors are controlled by a controlled descent motor. On activation the rate of descent is controlled by the gearbox being constantly engaged exerting a manual breaking effect on the curtain. The rate of descent is approximately 100mm per second. The clutch can be reset at a high level and the door can be raised and lowered in the normal fashion. The motor also has a facility to stimulate a fire test by a pull and rest cord. Maximum certified size 7000mm x 7000mm Electrical operation is normally with standard 3 push button control. Available single or 3 phase.

Optional Extras

Powder coated finish to std RAL or BS colours. Resettable solenoid for wiring to fire/smoke alarms by others. A 24volt supply will be required. Key switch control Audio Visual displays are all available.
